Leadership
Leadership of
Jubilate is vested in a six-person steering
committee. Alba Beasley, the Minister of Music at
University Baptist Church, serves as director.
Elections for the president and four council
representatives are held annually at the end of the fall
semester.

Harvest
Ball:
Jubilate's
annual semi-formal is held every November in the Newcomb Ballroom. Tickets
are $12/single and $20/couple and are sold on the
lawn during the weeks before the dance. All proceeds
benefit our spring tour.
Performances
Jubilate has
two concert seasons during the year,
in addition to various special performances at
University
Baptist services and University
of Virginia sporting events.

Festival
of Lessons and Carols:
Jubilate's traditional
Christmas concert composed of readings and songs. This
concert is based on the traditional Christmas Eve
service at King's College in England. This is
Jubilate's Christmas gift to the University of
Virginia community.

Spring
Concert Season:
The pinnacle of Jubilate's year is its Spring Break
Tour. Spring 2004 we traveled to New York
City with pre and post-tour concerts in Virginia. In
2005 we
will be traveling to New Orleans. The spring
concert features classical and modern Christian
pieces.
